Inspiration Shell Hunting

Our collection of the smallest shells we can find when we go beach hunting and the winner gets to buy the coffee afterwards.  Such texture and detail - I really must work on some ideas using our found shells as inspiration.  I'm tempted to go really large or huge with them.  Nature is so amazing.

STUDIO CLEAROUT - DESIGNER SILK SAMPLES

Auction here.
Link to all fabrics
I'm having a spring clean in my studio (I know it's August!!) of my beloved 100% silk original samples created by me and printed at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art.  Time to let them go.  But for a few, they are all approx A1 in size - no more fabric has been created with the designs I've produced so they really are unique and original.  Auction is over the weekend but I do know someone has bid already.  Many thanks!

New Summer Ikat Pattern Art

New Summer Ikat
We've had two lovely days here and about time!  I even got to sit out with my breakfast on our little decking area.  It always makes me want to use lovely summer colours and this is my modern take on a traditional ikat pattern mixing it with contemporary sharp lines.  The art print is available on society6 and I'm working on accessories or, at least, I will be when I get all my hundreds of poppy heads out the garden.  Never had so many in my life!
